Cashew Orchard Management

We work with local growers across Oyo, Kogi, Kwara, and Ogun regions, with ideal climates for high yield cashew orchards.Through regular pruning, natural pest control, and proper soil care, our partners maintain healthy trees that produce uniform, high grade nuts season after season. We support farmers with training, inputs, and guaranteed offtake agreements that reduce post harvest losses and improve quality at source.

Nut Collection & Drying

Cashew harvesting begins in February and peaks in April. During this period, ripe cashew apples are collected daily, with nuts separated and dried under controlled conditions to reduce moisture to below 8%.

To eliminate contamination from sand and debris, we ensure drying is done off the ground; on mats or raised racks. Each batch is bagged, tagged, and traceable back to its origin.

Shelling, grading & processing

At our facility, nuts go through a clean, manual mechanical process:

  1. Shelling: Cashew nuts are shelled using hybrid tools to prevent kernel breakage and to preserve color.
  2. Drying: Kernels are dried again to improve shelf stability and reduce free fatty acid (FFA) levels.
  3. Grading: We classify kernels by size, color, and integrity, offering white wholes (W180, W210, W240, W320), Scorched Wholes, and Broken Pieces based on buyer needs.
  4. Vacuum Packaging: To preserve freshness, reduce oxidation, and extend shelf life, we pack kernels in vacuum sealed, food grade pouches, then place them in carton boxes ready for sea or air freight.
