At Particeps Global, we work hand in hand with Nigerian farmers who’ve mastered sesame cultivation, by helping them turn one of Africa’s oldest crops into a clean, reliable product for both food and oilseed industries across the world.

From cultivation and drying to cleaning, grading, and packaging, we ensure that every sesame batch that leaves our facility is fit for export and ready to perform; no sand, impurities, and delays.

Sesame Cultivation & Drying

Our sesame is sourced directly from trusted growers in Benue, Nasarawa, Kano, and Jigawa states, who are known for high yield white sesame varieties. To preserve seed integrity, we train the growers in non chemical weed control, timely planting, and manual harvesting techniques..

After harvest, sesame pods are sun dried and threshed on clean tarpaulin, to minimize contamination and preserve color, oil content, and purity.

Cleaning, Dehulling & Grading

Once harvested, sesame undergoes a multiple stage process:

  1. Pre cleaning & Drying:
    • Seeds are first screened and dried to optimal moisture levels (below 7%). This is to prevent mold and spoilage.
  2. Mechanical Cleaning:
    • High speed air classifiers and magnetic separators are used to remove stones, sticks, and off types.
  3. Dehulling (on request):
    • Mechanically dehulled sesame is available for clients in the tahini, confectionery, and cosmetic sectors.
  4. Grading:
    • We grade by size, purity, and color, delivering premium quality white sesame at 99%+ purity levels.
